Pete Doherty to headline Glastonbury

Pete Doherty will headline The Park Stage at this year's Glastonbury Festival.

The Babyshambles frontman will perform a solo show at the bash, according to NME. It hasn't been confirmed which night Doherty will headline.

Doherty recently announced he would be playing a one-off show at London's Royal Albert Hall on April 26. All 5,500 tickets for the gig sold out in under 30 minutes.

Already announced to play The Park Stage are Brazilian rockers CSS.

Glastonbury takes place on June 27-29 at Worthy Farm, Pilton. Tickets go on sale April 6.

Jay-Z, Kings of Leon and The Verve will top the Pyramid Stage bill at the event. Other acts expected to play include Fatboy Slim, Neil Diamond, Duffy, The Futureheads and Massive Attack.
