According to The Sun, the former boyband star will front a dance outfit called What Jane Did Next, which will be similar in style to The Streets and Just Jack.
One of Adams's songs will reportedly be about a man with a fetish for overweight women who falls in love with a Polish cleaner. Another song will be called 'Drink Talking'.
Adams will be backed by producers Steve Smart and Nick Woolfson on the project.
A1 scored ten top ten hits and two number ones during their career. They also bagged a Best Breakthrough Act gong at the 2001 Brit Awards.
