Spears, Montag deny duet rumours

Britney Spears and Heidi Montag have denied they are responsible for a leaked track that claims to feature a duet by them.

American Idol presenter Ryan Seacrest played a song called 'Dramatic' on his radio breakfast show that he alleged was emailed to him with the description "Britney Spears and Heidi Montag".

After playing the tune, Seacrest commented: "How can you do that? If [Montag] doesn't know Britney, how can she do a song with Britney?

"You've gotta get a little Britney permission on that I would think."

Spears's label told Us magazine: "It’s not authorized and it wasn’t set up in any way and they never spent any time together in the studio. This was never a planned song or duet in any way."

A spokesperson for reality TV star Montag said: "Heidi has no knowledge of this recording. She did do a demo of this song for possible use on her record, but that recording had a male vocal on it, not Britney Spears."
