Klaxons have revealed that they are planning to record their much anticipated second album in Milan.
The nu-rave rockers' debut Myths of the Near Future won the Mercury Music Prize and was named Best Album at last week's NME Awards.
Keyboard player James Righton claimed the group will try to use Italian musician Ennio Morricone as inspiration for their follow-up.
Morricone produced the soundtracks for classic movies Fistful of Dollars and The Good, The Bad And The Ugly.
Righton told The Sun: "We’re all huge Morricone fans. He recorded most of his scores in a studio in Milan, so that’s where we’re heading.
“We’re going to start recording in May."
He also revealed that they had turned down the chance to work with veteran producer Tony Visconti on the LP due to conflicting schedules.
"We had something booked in with Tony Visconti, but we weren’t in the right place when that was scheduled so we had to postpone it," added Righton.
