Burglars steal Alphabeat tracks
Published Thursday, Mar 6 2008, 12:34 GMT | By Simon Reynolds

The Danish band were in Copenhagen collecting a prize at the Zulu Awards when thieves raided their East London home.
Thieves got away with a laptop containing new material and thousands of pounds' worth of recording equipment.
Keyboard player Rasmus Nagel told The Sun: "We have lost half of our new material."
The band are now hard at work trying to recreate the tracks as the only recorded versions were on the stolen laptop.
The band's vocalists, Anders Sg and Stine Bramsen, were reportedly approached to star in a big-screen remake of musical Fame.
"They were flattered and would have been perfect, but I don't think they will do it," a source revealed.
"This year will be busy enough without starring in a movie."
Alphabeat's single 'Fascination' will break into the UK top ten this weekend after charting at number 23 last week on download sales alone.
