Starr complains about Beatles association

The musician complained that the media focuses too much on his association with the Fab Four and ignores his later career as a singer and songwriter.
"Some days I'm just fed up with The Beatles," Starr explained. "I think that when when I die, the message on my tombstone will be 'Ex-Beatle'. Like I've done nothing else."
Ringo was criticised by Liverpool residents earlier this year, after he confessed that he has no plans to return to live in his home city.
