The chart-topping singer was offered the huge fee by organisers of a corporate party which is being held at a seven-star hotel in Dubai. However, Leona and her team decided to reject the opportunity.
"Leona was offered the £250,000 to perform just four songs," a source told The Sun. "It wouldn't have taken much more than 15 minutes. But it seems it wasn't enough for her team."
Lewis had also been told that all expenses would be paid for her and she would be able to stay at the luxurious Burj Al Arab hotel for five nights.
The source added: "That was thrown in on top for her and her team - so not a bad night's work."
Leona can be seen performing her new single on the Dancing on Ice semi-final tomorrow night.
