Adele proposes female supergroup

The solo star is reportedly keen to form a band with all the successful female artists that were educated at Croydon's Brit School Institution.
She told WENN that the collective would "represent most women in the world. If we were in a band I think it would be the best band ever."
The 19 singer added: "We're not afraid to speak our minds, [and] you don't need to be a doll with tanned legs, blonde hair, big boobs and good lips."
Adele also apparently wants Lily Allen to feature in the group.
> Best group ever or your idea of torture? What do you think of Adele's idea?

I'm sick of all of these over-hyped artists from the Brits school. Mind you, if they all formed a group and released music solely as a collective, it'd mean we wouldn't need to suffer their individual efforts...

That would be great if it was without Kate Nash and instead have someone like Corinne Bailey Rae. That would be interesting.

Great idea - only problem is the clash of personalities - Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse are on rocky terms with each other supposedly and Amy Winehouse cannot stand Katie Melua so unfortunately not going to happen!

It might be interesting for a one off. But with such a group of independent, unafraid-to-speak-their-mind, talented singers I think they'd be falling out if they were in a band.

They are all really good artists. Adele has not only got the looks but brains as well.

I think it would be great. I think these people are much better than those fake singers such as Britney Spears before she went crazy. I love Amy Winehouses and Adele's music but I never heard of Kate Melua

Amy said she'd rather have cat aids than do something with Katie Melua. If you've never seen Amy on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, you should see it on YouTube--funny!
