The Enemy and Goldfrapp have been confirmed to play this year's Glastonbury Festival.

Also added to the bill are The Fratellis, Editors and veteran singer Jimmy Cliff.

A spokesperson told The Guardian: "We're really excited to confirm the latest additions to this year's lineup.

"Goldfrapp and the Editors are two equally impressive but very different bands and we feel that all of today's announcements, particularly the wonderful Jimmy Cliff, represent what this year's Glastonbury is all about."

Editors, The Fratellis and The Enemy all played last year's festival. Goldfrapp last played in 2005, while Jimmy Cliff performed on the Pyramid Stage in 2003.

Glastonbury takes place at Worthy Farm, Pilton on June 27-29. Tickets go on sale at 9am on April 6. Anyone wanting to purchase a ticket must pre-register by midnight on Friday, March 14.

Confirmed to headline this year's bash are Kings of Leon, Jay-Z and The Verve. CSS, Pete Doherty, Neil Diamond, Leonard Cohen and Massive Attack are also expected to play.
