Craig David fancies Bond theme tune

The R&B star said he would like to follow in the footsteps of Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Tom Jones in producing a 007 track.
David told ITV: "I think doing a theme song for a film would be interesting...I'd like to do a song that captures what the whole film is about...Bond would be a great one."
"The Bond films are an institution - and you’d love to, as an artist, be involved in something like that."
Amy Winehouse is currently the favoured choice of producers to sing the theme for the 22nd 007 film Quantum of Solace.
> David or Winehouse - who do you think would make the better theme?

Craig David LOL, there's more chance of Steps reforming and doing the next Bond Theme than him. How this story made me laugh out loud :)

I heard that the producers asked -H-I-M- to write and sing the theme tune. Apparently they asked the lead singer Ville Valo personally to do it, due to the fact that they loved his voice.
