Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has revealed the band have almost finished their sixth album.
Posting on the band's MySpace page, Cuomo said the record is "meaty, crunchy and melodic like a good Weezer album should be".
The singer added: "We have one song left to mix and then it’s on to mastering. We should be all done very soon.
"The album will be out in June so with any luck you will hear a new Weezer song on the radio soon."
Cuomo also teased fans over the title of the first single, saying: "It’s one word, starts with a T, ends with an R and contains twelve letters."
Weezer's last album, Make Believe, was released in 2005.
Last year Cuomo announced he was looking to sign a publishing deal in order to release his memoirs.
