Bedingfield attacks attention seekers
Published Monday, Mar 17 2008, 11:34 GMT | By Alex Fletcher

The singer said that she enjoys having fun "for the sake of it" rather than to boost record sales. She also said that she was different to many of her female contemporaries because she doesn't "do drugs".
"Unlike some artists around, I like to have fun just for the sake of it, not just to attract attention," said Bedingfield on her official blog.
"This industry is so obsessed with image and what everyone thinks of you and I've found that you have to fight hard within yourself not to let it affect you.
"I'm aware that I've been labeled a good girl by some because I'm different to some of the other female artists - the main difference being I don't do drugs and I'm doing my best not to be messed up."
