The guitarist said the band are thinking about copying the Colombian international because their new LP sounds like a "scorpion kick", reports The Sun.
The scorpion kick was a style of goalkeeping made famous by Higuita in an match against England in 1995.
Pizzorno also revealed that the group's third album had more of a dance influence than its predecessors.
He told NME: "The new songs we're going to play are really dancey. I wouldn't call
them dance music as such, but you can really f****ing get down to them."
The band are playing only one UK festival this summer, Creamfields near Liverpool, and the Leicester rockers believe they are one of the few acts that can handle performing at a traditionally dance-orientated event.
"We wanted to do something different this year. You pretty much know what's going to happen [at festivals], there's no surprises, so we thought we'd do [Creamfields], " said Pizzorno.
"I don't think there are many other bands who could do this or would accept the challenge of getting a dance crowd going."
