The stadium rockers' new LP will be called The Cosmos Rocks. Ex-Free frontman Paul Rodgers has replaced the late Freddie Mercury on lead vocals.
It will be the first Queen record to be released without any contribution from Mercury, who died in 1991. The band's last album, 1995's Made In Heaven, featured material the singer recorded before he passed away.
Guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor wrote the new album. Bassist John Deacon, who quit the music industry in the '90s, will not participate in the record's promotion.
The band also confirmed a 14-date European tour that includes six UK dates. The band will visit Nottingham, Glasgow, London, Cardiff, Birmingham and Liverpool.
The Cosmos Rocks will be released on September 1.
