Two separate tribute albums for goth rock band The Cure are to be released.

American Laundromat Records will release Just Like Heaven: A Tribute to The Cure early next year with tracks from the Raveonettes, Frank Black's Grand Duchy project and Tanya Donnelly. The label has previously released compilations of Pixies and Neil Young covers.

Label Manimal Vinyl is planning to release its own album of Cure covers, titled Perfect As Cats, to raise money for the Ugandan youth charity Invisible Children. Artists on the album will include the Dandy Warhols, Cocorosie, Bat For Lashes and Blonde Redhead.

The Cure play a show at Wembley Arena tonight and will then head out on a tour of North America.
