The R&B star, whose single 'American Boy' is currently on top of the UK singles chart, told the BBC that she had signed up for the iconic event, which takes place in Pilton, Somerset on June 27-29.
She also spoke out in support of fellow rapper Jay-Z, who will be one of the headliners at this year's festival.
"What is Glastonbury? Why shouldn't Jay-Z headline it?" she said. "He's a worldwide global superstar, not just an urban artist. It's credible music, it's not like he's doing, no disrespect, Will Smith-style rapping. He's doing lyrics that you can relate to."
