Da Bank told the Daily Star: "I’d love Dolly to headline here. I’ve been trying for three years now.
"Can you imagine thousands of people dressed up in blonde wigs with fake boobs?"
Bestival takes place at Robin Hill Country Park, Isle of Wight on September 5-7. Tickets are on sale now.
Acts already announced for the event include CSS, My Bloody Valentine, The Breeders, George Clinton & Funkadelic/Parliament, Gary Numan, The Human League, Pendulum and Chas & Dave.
