Martin thought of name for REM single
Published Thursday, Mar 27 2008, 15:32 GMT | By Beth Hilton

The group originally intended to call the song 'Disguised', but ended up going with Martin's suggestion of 'Supernatural Superserious'.
Frontman Michael Stipe told BBC Radio 1 host Jo Whiley: "We were in London, in Soho, mixing the record and Chris Martin was working on the Coldplay record as well, and he's great friends with the band.
"He was listening to the song, and said 'It's a great song but a crap title, you have to change it'. He offered this title and we went with it."
The single will be the first from new album Accelerate, which hits stores on March 31.
