Scouting For Girls frontman Roy Stride has vowed to write and record material for the band's second album while on the road for their current tour.
The group have decided to keep recording equipment close by as they travel for sold-out gigs across the UK.
"We've got heaps of international travel coming up. And you can't really write on a plane, so this tour I'm definitely going to be doing lots of recording and writing," Roy told the Daily Star.
"When I haven't sat down to write for ages I do about four songs in a day as it bubbles up and I do start to go a bit crazy. The guys should just lock me in a room until I come up with something good."
Stride added that he is keen for the band to follow in the footsteps of Oasis by producing a number of high-quality B-sides.
"When I first got into bands like Oasis they did B-sides which were as good, if not better, than the single and we've always tried to do the same," he explained. "I'm going to do some B-sides for the next few singles. Then we'll start demo-ing up some of the songs we have got for the second album. It's all very exciting."
