Axed Nancy joins Ronson's girl group
Mark Ronson has signed former I'd Do Anything hopeful Lucy Duffield to his new girl group.

Duffield made it to the regional finals of the BBC talent show but was eliminated two weeks ago after performing at the showcase.

Although she lost out on the opportunity to play Nancy in the stage version of Oliver!, her performance impressed an agent from Jayne Collins Casting.

She was invited to be a member of the as-yet-unnamed girl group and has already recorded some tracks with the Brit Award-winning producer in New York.

A show source told The Sun: "Lucy thought her dream was over. Now she can't believe what is happening to her."

Amy Booth-Steel became the first finalist to be voted off the show last night.
