The track, which will be released as a double A-side with Weller's 'Have You Made Up Your Mind' on May 26, also features Oasis's Gem Archer on guitar.
Talking about the song, Weller told Uncut: "In songwriting terms, it’s the first Weller/Gallagher collaboration.
"Noel came down to the studio with this loop he’d never been able to do anything with. He played the bass and the piano and then Gem played guitar on top. It’s a top tune."
'Echoes Round The Sun' is taken from Weller's latest double album 22 Dreams. The record features duets with Graham Coxon, Little Barrie and former Stone Roses star Aziz Ibrahim.
Gallagher and Weller previously recorded together in 1995 with the supergroup The Smoking Mojo Filters. Alongside Paul McCartney and Ocean Colour Scene's Steve Craddock they released a cover of the Beatles hit 'Come Together'.
