The View have cancelled a surprise London pub gig due to extensive media interest.
According to NME, the Scottish band pulled out of a headline show at the Dirty Boots Club in Bloomsburg Bowling Lanes because too many websites had reported details of the gig.
They were expected to preview tracks from their sophomore album at the show. The group are currently working on the follow-up to 2007's Hats Off To The Buskers.
Austin's White Denim, Red Light Company and The Joy Formidable will still perform at the venue tonight. Tickets cost £6.
