Toni Braxton cancels four more shows

R&B star Toni Braxton has cancelled a further four shows after being hospitalised on Monday with chest pains.

The singer was released the following day and is now recovering at home in Las Vegas.

She was forced to pull out of Tuesday night's concert at the city's Flamingo Hotel-casino, where she has been performing her 'Toni Braxton: Revealed' show since August 2006.

Doctors have now told her to abandon any planned appearances for the next few days.

Flamingo spokeswoman Deanna Pettit said: "We're going to go ahead and cancel her shows for the rest of the week. We expect she'll return to the stage next Tuesday."

The details of Braxton's illness are not known but she has previously been treated for pericarditis, a vital inflammation of the heart.

Refunds will be offered for the cancelled appearances.
