Maxïmo Park promise "different" third LP

The band, whose last record was 2007's Our Earthly Pleasures, said the new LP was leaving them awake at night with excitement.
Lead singer Paul Smith told the Daily Star: "The lads gave me three days' worth of demos, just melodies without any lyrics and as soon as I heard them I couldn’t sleep.
"They kept going round my head so I was waking up at 3am writing lyrics until the early hours. That’s what music can do - it takes over your life."
Commenting on their new direction, guitarist Duncan Lloyd said: "It’s still very melodic, but I think it’s going to be quite different from the last one."
