Mariah scores sixth US No.1 album

Her E=MC2 album sold 463,000 copies in the States last week - the highest weekly sales figures of the year - to zoom to the top of the Billboard 200. Leona Lewis's Spirit album, which debuted at number one on the chart last week, is forced into second place.
Carey also topped the US album chart with Mariah Carey (1990), Music Box (1993), Daydream (1995), Butterfly (1997) and The Emancipation of Mimi (2005).
E=MC2 debuted at three on this week's UK album chart behind The Kooks and Leona Lewis.
