Kasabian Tom: 'E.T.' makes me cry

Kasabian singer Tom Meighan has claimed that talking about the movie character E.T. makes him cry.

The frontman, who recently bought a BMX bike used in the film E.T. for £10,000, admitted that when he's intoxicated he sometimes believes that the visitor is living in his house.

Meighan told Loaded: "I'm obsessed with E.T. I love the film so much, even talking about it makes me want to cry.

"The only time I believe in E.T. is when I stand there and I'm really out of my mind and I've got a statue of him, a rubber thing.

"It's a 4ft f****n' E.T. living in my house. When I'm not really with it I start talking to it and that's the only time I really believe he's alive. He's got a massive c**k."
