Cole touted as Fergie's Peas replacement

Will.i.am wants Cheryl Cole to front the Black Eyed Peas should Fergie ever decide to leave the group.

The pair collaborated on the single 'Heartbreaker' and Will.i.am admitted the Girls Aloud singer would fit in well with the group.

He said: "If we didn't [have] Fergie, [Cole] would be in the Peas - that's how cool she is."

Will.i.am recently confessed to having a crush on Cole, saying: "If you measured it on a scale of hot to ten. Cheryl is a ten. She is hot."
