Winehouse wants to run her own label?

Amy Winehouse will leave Island Records after her next album and start up her own label, say reports.

According to The Sun, the singer is keen to get into business with Alex Haines, who she is allegedly dating.

Winehouse would apparently like to sign friends Remi Nicole and Tyler James and have control over her own finances.

"For the first time in her career, Amy is beginning to have her head turned by the cash she can make," said a source.

"It’s never been a huge deal in the past, but she is beginning to realise everyone else is making all the money out of her success.

"Her deal with Island ends after the next record. That’s why they are trying to get her to clean up first and make sure it’s a classic.

"She’s been planning it with Alex, who has a bit of music know-how from working as her manager’s assistant."

It was reported yesterday that Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil is seeking a £3 million divorce payout because of her relationship with Haines.
