Alex Turner's Arctic Monkeys received two nods, with his side-project group The Last Shadow Puppets also getting two nominations.
The yearly awards are run by monthly music magazine Mojo
. Editor-in-chief Phil Alexander said: "Once again the nominees for the Mojo Honours List are representative of genuine musical quality.
"In an increasingly disposable age, they represent music that’s built to last.
"There is a sense of authenticity and integrity that runs through all of these artists and Mojo
is proud to celebrate their achievements."
