Kane too busy for Shadow Puppets tour

Miles Kane has confirmed that there will not be a Last Shadow Puppets tour this summer because he is too busy.

Kane's side-project with Arctic Monkeys star Alex Turner has been more successful than they anticipated, with their debut LP The Age of the Understatement debuting at the top of the UK album chart last weekend.

However, Miles has said that his main priority in the coming months will be his own group, The Rascals. He and his bandmates Greg Mighall and Joe Edwards will release their first album Rascalize on June 9.

"I did the Puppets thing last summer and this year I had a month off from The Rascals to promote that," Miles told the Daily Star. "To be honest, Alex and I didn't expect it to get blown up as it did. It's great that it did, of course, but now it's all about The Rascals again.

"I can't wait to put the album out to let people know that this is our passion, our dream. We want to put everything into it. We want to do loads of albums and have a long career."
