Super Furry Animals lead singer Gruff Rhys has confessed that he isn't a fan of the saxophone.
The brass instrument has experienced a recent surge in popularity thanks to bands such as the Mystery Jets, The Zutons and The Rumble Strips, but Rhys claimed the sound of it makes him feel physically sick.
Speaking to Last.fm Presents, the Welsh rocker said: "I generally dislike the saxophone. I like saxophones if they're just doing basic notes, that's fine. But saxophone solos I don't enjoy.
"It has that vomit-inducing quality, it's a physical thing," he explained.
