Rather than let touts sell tickets to her forthcoming 'Sticky & Sweet' tour, Viagogo will provide a legitimate point of sale for auctions and re-selling.
The website charges users to sell and buy, but guarantees authenticity and arrival. It is the first time such a deal between a musician and secondary ticket seller has been agreed.
Viagogo CEO Eric Baker said: "Madonna has been the real trend-setter with Live Nation. She's often the first, and rarely the last.
"I hope that more artists will embrace the secondary market rather than leave it to the mercy of ticket touts. You can't fight against it."
Madonna begins her world tour at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on August 23.
