Despite recently working with the band on their forthcoming seventh studio album, according to The Sun, he has fallen out with the group.
"There have been arguments with Noel Gallagher and general disagreements," said a source. "It looks like the album will be his last involvement with the band."
Starkey, who is son of Beatles percussionist Ringo Starr, started performing with Oasis in 2004. He played with them during a headline slot at Glastonbury and also at three homecoming shows at the City of Manchester Stadium in 2005.
Previous Oasis drummers have included Tony McCarroll, Alan White and Terence Kirkbride.
