The untitled track will appear on the next Babyshambles LP and Doherty revealed that guitarist Mick Whitnall has already held writing sessions with Winehouse for the summer single.
"Mick and Amy have a great relationship," Doherty told the Daily Star. "They have been working on material while I was in prison. When I came out I went straight to the recording studio. I just want to get going."
Doherty revealed that a fellow inmate threatened to stab him during his 29-day incarceration at Wormwood Scrubs.
