The DJ has scored six top ten hits under the moniker, but confirmed he would be retiring from operating under the name in the near future.
He told The Sun: "Yes, I am ditching the Fatboy Slim name but I can’t tell you the new one.
"I’m going to take the Fifth Amendment on that question and not say because I’ll get myself into trouble."
Cook holds the Guinness World Record for the most UK Top 40 hits under different names. He bagged hits with The Housemartins, Beats International, Freakpower and under the title Pizzaman.
Fatboy Slim headlines the Saturday night at this year's O2 Wireless Festival.
