The summer bash, which takes place at The Hop Farm, Kent, is being hosted by stars of BBC Three comedy series The Mighty Boosh, Noel Fielding and Julian Barrett.
Other acts confirmed for the event include Polar Bear and White Denim. Fielding and Barrett will perform a comedy set at the one-day festival.
Speaking about the addition of Gary Numan to the lineup, Fielding said: "Having Gary on board is mental!
"He is a hero of mine and was always a first choice. Having him perform at our festival is almost surreal"
The comedian added: "We've never played a music festival before and a comic has never headlined at a festival before, so we are seizing the opportunity and doing both!"
The Mighty Boosh Festival takes place on July 5.
