Speaking to the newspaper, Allen, who pulled out of the Isle of Wight Festival due to delays with the album, said that she will soon start promoting her new material.
Allen said: "I've worked so hard. My next album is nearly finished. I'm on a two-week break and then I'm starting a massive promotional tour.
"I'm not sure when I'll have time for another holiday, so I'm making the most of it now."
Allen's debut album Alright, Still, released in 2006, has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide.
The 23-year-old recently released two new tracks, 'I Don't Know' and 'I Could Say', on her MySpace page.
