The rapper said he had fallen in love with hip-hop music for the second time thanks to West's recent US jaunt.
In a video posted on YouTube, Diddy said: "The other night, I go to the Kanye West concert. [I had] nothing but high expectations.
"[West's] concert changed my life. I ain't gonna lie. I was so impressed and inspired. It was beautiful, man - and I fell in love with hip-hop again."
He added: "I want to say thank you, Kanye, for giving me that."
The 'Glow in the Dark' shows include support acts N.E.R.D., Lupe Fiasco and Rihanna.
West headlines the Global Gathering festival in Stratford-Upon-Avon on July 25-26.
