The 24-year-old's 'Love Is A Losing Game' was named the best song musically and lyrically but 'Rehab' lost out to Beyoncé and Shakira's 'Beautiful Liar' for the best-selling song award.
Winehouse's father Mitch accepted the gong on his daughter's behalf.
He said: "Unfortunately Amy couldn't make it, but she is getting better and sends you all her love. She has asked me to thank the Ivors for being the first to recognise her songwriting talents."
Take That's 'Shine' scooped the most played song award while Cherry Ghost's 'People Help The People' held off competition from Kate Nash's 'Foundations' and Klaxons' 'Golden Skans' to take home the best contemporary song prize.
Phil Collins, the recipient of the international achievement award, said the recognition provided a "full stop" in his musical career.
"I won't say anything more, but my priorities in life have taken a considerable change in the past couple of years. I've got two little boys and my world revolves around them," Collins said.
