Beyoncé to record Bond theme?

Beyoncé Knowles is rumoured to be in line to sing the new Bond theme.

The former Destiny's child star is the latest name to be mentioned in connection with upcoming movie Quantum Of Solace.

Initial reports suggested that Amy Winehouse would perform the song, but producer Mark Ronson said plans had been shelved because of her ongoing health issues. However, it was recently claimed that Pet Shop Boys have offered to help her finish the track.

Knowles is now thought to be in talks with movie bosses about recording a song in collaboration with legendary Bond composer John Barry, reports The London Paper.
