Duffy admits to debut album nerves

The rising star admitted that she was wary of releasing Rockferry in its final form because many of the songs were inspired by an ex-boyfriend.
"I have to think quite hard about what I put out there," Duffy told the Daily Star. "There are a few tracks on the album that are too close to the bone, where I think people are gonna know, especially that one person in particular who inspired it. Sometimes you think: 'We didn't even talk about this at the time'. It's quite revealing.
"When I was recording the album with Bernard Butler all these feelings would come out and afterwards I'd think: 'He must think I have some serious issues.' All my lyrics are based on experience - they're vulnerable."
Duffy told DS this month that her latest single 'Warwick Avenue' had been inspired by "issues".
