Gene Simmons has said that it would be rude of him to not have sex with female groupies.
The Kiss singer claimed it would only knock a woman's confidence if he snubbed her advances.
"Think of me as a goodwill ambassador," Simmons told NME. "The poor girls spend hours putting on their make-up and their perfume.
"How rude would it be if that got ignored? Otherwise, they'll feel their self-esteem lower. You don't want that happening."
He added: "I'm a Good Samaritan. It's my good-natured side."
Kiss headline this year's Download Festival at Donington Park. It takes place on June 13 to 15.
