Washington to release solo LP in 2010

Sabrina Washington has revealed that she has plans to release solo material in 2010.

The former Mis-Teeq singer, who exited I'm A Celebrity earlier this week, entered the ITV1 reality TV show without speaking to her record company. However, the singer insisted that she still had musical plans for the New Year.

"I didn't tell them because we hadn't been seeing eye-to-eye, so I thought I needed a new challenge and a change of environment," she told DS. "I'm releasing solo material in February, so we'll see what happens."

Washington and bandmates Alesha Dixon and Su-Elise Nash released three studio albums between 1999 and 2005, which included the hit singles 'One Night Stand', 'Scandalous' and 'All I Want'.

When asked about tabloid reports thats she criticised Strictly Come Dancing star Alesha Dixon, Washington said: "People like to make up a lot of stories, but that was completely false. When you spend seven years with someone, you know the score. We were living in each others' pockets and we knew each other extremely well. It was all a load of rubbish."
