The track, titled 'Don't Call This Love', will be available for download at midnight on October 11 before hitting shops two days later. His debut album Right Now will follow on October 20.
"It's my favourite song on the album and is an original with a really individual sound," Jackson explained. "The song is one I think people will really be able to relate to.
"It's about someone who's been hurt. They don't want to be deceived any more and they're saying to their partner 'Don't you dare call this love'. It's a really charismatic song."
Jackson's debut single 'When You Believe' enjoyed a three-week reign at the top of the UK singles chart following its release in December last year.
