Borrell criticises 'insane' Leon Jackson

Borrell, 28, admitted he was stunned to learn that Jackson had spent ten months working on his debut album Right Now, which was released yesterday.
Asked about Leon in an interview with the Daily Record, Borrell replied: "He's not even on my radar I'm afraid. I have never heard of him.
"I'd say you have either got it or you haven't. But if it takes that much effort, you probably haven't got it. The idea of this Leon guy spending the last ten months making a record is insane."
He added: "That whole Pop Idol and X Factor thing passed me by. I don't understand what it is for and what the point of it is."
Jackson's comeback single 'Don't Call This Love' debuted at number three at the weekend, finishing behind Peter Kay's X Factor spoof 'The Winner's Song' and Pink's 'So What'.
