Leona Lewis has said she will not do a full live tour until 2010 in order to focus on recording the follow-up to her worldwide number one album Spirit.

The X Factor winner told the BBC that "the live tour will probably come the year after next. Next year is album. Album then tour".

Despite winning the ITV talent search two years ago, Lewis is yet to embark on a tour.

Speaking about performing on the show next month, she said: "This year I think I'll be nervous, but I will be a little bit more confident. It's just going back to where it all began, going on to that stage and having the judges there."

Lewis's new single 'Forgive Me' hits stores on November 3.
