The 16-year-old X Factor star confirmed that he is a fan of the country singer's latest album Fearless, which has boosted her profile in the UK.
"I'd love to work with Taylor," Quigg told the Daily Star. "She's got a great voice and a duet with her would be wicked."
Quigg released his self-titled debut disc earlier this week. It has since topped the Irish albums chart and is expected to secure a top ten placing in the UK tomorrow.
The singer recently announced that he hopes to take greater creative control if he is granted a second album.
