The former X Factor winner was expected to start the 16-date jaunt at Blackburn's King Georges Hall on May 5, but the gig has now been cancelled.
The second date of the 'Right Now' tour at Manchester Apollo on May 13 has also been cancelled, and online site Ticketmaster is no longer offering tickets to further dates across the country.
Jackson was dropped by his record label Sony in March after selling a disappointing 130,000 copies of debut album Right Now.
Fellow X Factor finalists Same Difference, who have also since been dropped, were expected to join Jackson as he played his first headline shows.
