Laura White: 'Fans can choose my single'

The 21-year-old singer, who was voted off in the fifth live show last year, explained that she wants to repay her supporters by passing over control of her career.
Speaking to the Leigh Journal, she revealed: "It's been absolutely amazing, and the fans are just really excited. I honestly decided to do this because the fans kept me going after the show, as it was just such a shock when my time at The X Factor came to an end for me and of course my fans.
"When I went I was asking myself even whether I should carry on with music, and after the immense amount of support it was just so overwhelming. Due to this I am allowing my fans to choose my first single, and nothing like this has ever been done before."
She added: "Being honest, I am hoping people select this one song I have recorded - as when I heard it, it made me shiver and I just had that feeling, and knew it was my song. However, whatever is picked I will be happy. I can't say anything else just yet, but keep checking the website!"
Fans will be offered a choice of three songs on White's official site before the star embarks on a promotional tour of the UK later this year.
