The 18-year-old's debut solo song 'The Climb' is followed by Lady GaGa's 'Bad Romance' and Ke$ha's 'Tik Tok' in second and third place respectively.
Black Eyed Peas' 'Meet Me Halfway' rises one spot to fourth, while Rihanna's 'Russian Roulette' takes the final place in the top five after climbing seven positions.
2008's X Factor champion Alexandra Burke is another high climber this week. Her 'Bad Boys' single, which topped the chart in October, rises up eight places to return to the top ten.
